Holiday house in country side, Latvia-
The Friends House consists of a solemn hall, a second-floor apartment with 3 rooms and a bathroom, as well as a guest area - six second-floor rooms, two bathrooms and a utility room. On the second floor there are kitchens in the apartment and in the guest area.
At the request of the customers, the ground floor hall is designed to be highly festive and luxurious, including antique furniture, also according to the customer's wishes.
On the second floor a long hallway leads to each room. In order to get natural lighting there, French-style doors have been created where glass is used in the fixed part above the door leaf. The hallway also includes a farmhouse-style element - paneling, which is both a conceptual and functional element of the interior. The home owners family artworks are hanged and illuminated at the walls.
Bathrooms also feature stylized antique mixers. In one of them, the sink surface is embedded in Singer sewing machine.
In the interior of the project mainly warm and cozy tones are used. A lot of floral motifs appear, both in the elements of wallpaper and in antique furniture.
Designers intention was to use as many natural materials as possible during the project, including in the interior wood flooring, wooden doors and panels that appear in the wall covering.
The interior also includes mobile wallpaper panels leaned agains the wall. This element allows you to change wall accents over time, allowing you to easily refresh the look of your room if you want to.
The bedrooms have Latvian design lamps “Mammalampa” and “Lalampa”.
Modern antique switches and sockets in white are used throughout the house as an interesting accent.
All built-in furniture in the project was made by Latvian company "Camillo".
