My name is Anita, founder of Anita Luse studio. I'm an interior designer from Latvia, based in Nice, France. I am also actively involved in creating visual art. I'm passionate about both environmental planning and decoration, where I've gained more than ten years of experience working in Latvia and in France.

 

At the beginning of my career, I was part of a well-known team of interior architects in Latvia. I then moved on to managing an interior studio together with my colleagues. During these four years, we created several well-recognized projects in the design industry. All these experiences have allowed me to get to know myself as a designer and build my own perspective and vision. I've realized that working individually is best for achieving my full potential.

 

In my spare time, I enjoy creating visual art. I have completed several art-related courses, including academic drawing and painting, in the Academy of Arts evening courses. Art is my passion, which I could never throw aside. That is why I create artwork in symbiosis with my interior projects.

 

My profession helps me create art and vice versa – art inspires me to design interiors. I consider them to be related industries that complement each other. In both art and design, I try to find a visual language that speaks with my viewer or client. Like art, interior design resonates with people and makes our lives more beautiful, meaningful, and purposeful.

 

I believe that beauty will save the world, and I have made it my mission to make the environment around me comfortable, functional, and beautiful.
